Spotlight: Smoked Salmon Cheesecake
The Smoked Salmon Cheesecake may sound a bit strange to some, but this savory spread brings together the best ingredients to create a delicious blend that just about everyone will love.
Chef Kyle wanted to create something that would compare to our Roasted Garlic Pesto Cheesecake, which has been a hit for many years. He wanted to come up with another savory cheesecake that combined smoky and savory flavors in a very unique way. From this, the Smoked Salmon Cheesecake was born, and quickly devoured by the La Prima staff.
We start with a house-made dip of smoked salmon, red and yellow peppers and three cheeses, then our chefs bake the dip into a traditional cheesecake shape. We make our own toasted bagel chips to go with the cheesecake, alongside capers, onions and diced tomatoes.
