Event at the Zoo – Conservation Pavilion

In June, the Friends of the National Zoo (FONZ) unveiled their new event venue to local event managers & planners. Located at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo & Conservation Biology Institute, The Conservation Pavilion is a modern space mixing farm & industrial design.
La Prima Food Group was honored to share menu items from both its divisions – La Prima Catering and Catering by Seasons. Stations offered a variety from seared tuna, matchless mac & cheese with two sauce toppings; create your own ramen cups with shrimp or beef, champagne shots with raspberry, a sweet potato & mango salad, our award-winning corn avocado salsa, a client favorite pappardelle pasta salad, a variety of sandwiches and refreshing white sangria and watermelon infused water. It was a sampling of longtime favorites with a dash of the new and trendy.
