Here at La Prima Food Group, we strive to be very direct and honest with our clients, sharing our business practices, green efforts, recipes, and more. We’ve added an FAQ section to share even more about ourselves and our practices.

Where are you located? How far are you willing to travel?

We are primarily located in the DC metropolitan area, doing regular business across Maryland, DC and Virginia. But we can make accommodations for almost any location depending on what you are looking for.

What are your hours of operation?

We take new inquiries Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm, but you can contact us anytime and we will have a representative respond to you as soon as possible.

Once you have coordinated with one of our customer service representatives, you will be able to contact her or him via email or phone if you have any questions leading up to your event.

And, our kitchens are open for evening and weekend deliveries and service.

Do you charge for utensils, serving items and napkins?

There is no extra cost for standard compostable equipment including plates, bowls, napkins, and cups when applicable. Plastic serving utensils and cutlery will also be provided.

If you are looking for specific disposable equipment such as upscale disposables, there may be an up-charge depending on what you order. We also offer china and glassware for an additional fee.

I have guests with dietary restrictions, what do you recommend?

There are so many allergies and dietary restrictions, that it is impossible not to think about them! As a caterer, we feel it is our responsibility to provide solutions for any type of limitations or preferences. We offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free meal options, as well as meals to accommodate ethnic and religious practices.

If you have more specific concerns, or colleagues and guests with a variety of different restrictions, call us to speak with a dedicated representative. We will work out the best solution for your specific case.

Will you work with me to put together the right menu within my budget?

Yes, our trained staff can work with you on all aspects of your event from menu creation and décor options to rentals and staffing while always keeping your budget in mind.

What do I do if I need to make a change to my order?

No problem. Just call one of our customer service representatives and they will provide suggestions and work to accommodate any changes or requests.

Do you offer staffing for events?

Yes. We can provide bartenders, wait staff, chefs, service captains and event managers. Our hired staff is trained, professional and reliable.

What time will you arrive to drop off the food?

We request at least a 30-minute delivery window, allowing us sufficient time for setup. For example, if your group wants to eat at 12:00 noon, we will deliver between 11:15 and 11:45 a.m.

I need full service catering. Can you do that?

Yes. In addition to offering great food and excellent one-on-one customer support with La Prima Catering, we also offer upscale, full service events through our full service division, Catering by Seasons.

Catering by Seasons can provide grown to order, farm to table menus as well as other sustainable service options. We can create high end formal events as well as relaxed casual affairs and anything in between. Our staff is focused on making your event perfect and safe for the environment.
