President Dave Evans Recognized as 2015 BizBash Event Innovator
La Prima Catering President, Dave Evans, has been recognized as a 2015 BizBash Event Innovator for his pioneering vision of farm-to-table events with our full-service division, Catering by Seasons.
Dave has continuously pushed for sustainable business practices and green catering options with La Prima. In 2012, he worked with local farmers and Catering by Seasons event managers to launch the Seeds to Celebrations event initiative. Through this innovative catering program, couples could plan a farm-to-table wedding from the ground up. Brides and Grooms began working with our event managers, chefs and local farmers to determine what produce could be grown for their event.
In addition, La Prima Catering has worked to become the highest-rated green caterer on the East Coast, with seasonal, locally-sourced produce in many of our specials and everyday catering items. We have a large urban garden at our headquarters in College Park, and we work with farmers at Groundworks Farm to provide seasonal, organically grown produce at lower costs to our customers.
